Franco Muñoz Named to 2026 Inc. 5000 for Fourth Consecutive Year
By Steve Franco
Franco Muñoz Law Firm is proud to announce that Franco Muñoz has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 for the fourth consecutive year, once again placing our California workers’ compensation and personal injury law firm among the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.
For 2026, Franco Muñoz earned a national ranking of No. 3,043. Even more meaningful to our team, this marks the fourth straight year the firm has earned a place on the Inc. 5000, following appearances in 2023, 2024, and 2025. Inc.’s official profile confirms Franco Muñoz’s four consecutive appearances on the list.

This year’s rankings for Franco Muñoz include:
- No. 3,043 in the United States
- No. 429 in California
- No. 124 in the Legal Industry
- No. 107 in the San Francisco Bay Area
Making the Inc. 5000 once is an accomplishment.
Being recognized four consecutive years tells a bigger story.
For us, it represents sustained growth while continuing to build a law firm centered on serving injured workers, injury victims, and their families throughout California.
What Is the Inc. 5000?
The Inc. 5000 is Inc.’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
Unlike an award based primarily on nominations or subjective voting, companies on the 2026 Inc. 5000 are ranked according to their percentage revenue growth over a three-year period—from 2022 through 2025.
To qualify for the 2026 list, companies generally had to be:
- Privately held
- For-profit
- Based in the United States
- Independent rather than a subsidiary or division of another company
- Generating revenue by March 31, 2022
Inc. also required qualifying companies to have generated at least $100,000 in revenue in 2022 and at least $2 million in 2025. Honorees must also pass Inc.’s editorial review.
Those requirements help make the Inc. 5000 a measurable recognition of sustained business growth.
The 2026 Inc. 5000 by the Numbers
The scale of the 2026 list helps put the recognition into perspective.
According to Inc. and its parent company, Mansueto Ventures, the companies selected for the 2026 Inc. 5000 collectively generated more than $385 billion in revenue in 2025.
Across the entire list, the median three-year revenue growth rate was 130%. The top 500 companies achieved an even higher median three-year growth rate of 1,338%.
The companies on the 2026 list also had a substantial impact on employment. Collectively, this year’s honorees created 627,208 jobs during the three-year measurement period and employed more than 1.45 million people in 2025.
These statistics demonstrate the scale of the companies represented on the Inc. 5000 and the role growing private businesses continue to play throughout the U.S. economy.
To be included among those companies for a fourth consecutive year is an achievement our entire Franco Muñoz team is proud to celebrate.
Four Consecutive Years on the Inc. 5000
Franco Muñoz first appeared on the Inc. 5000 in 2023, five years after the firm was founded in Oakland in 2018.
Since then, the firm has earned a place on the list every year:
2023 — No. 3,293
2024 — No. 3,937
2025 — No. 3,527
2026 — No. 3,043
Inc.’s official company profile documents all four annual rankings.
When we received our first Inc. 5000 recognition in 2023, it represented a major milestone for our young firm. We shared that accomplishment in our original article announcing Franco Muñoz’s first Inc. 5000 recognition.
Four years later, the significance is different.
One year can reflect a period of exceptional growth.
Four consecutive years demonstrate consistency.
That is what makes the 2026 recognition particularly meaningful to us.
Growth Built Around Representing Injured People
Franco Muñoz was founded in Oakland in 2018 by Steve Franco and René Muñoz. Inc. identifies the firm as a workers’ compensation and personal injury law firm and lists Oakland, California, as its home.
From the beginning, the purpose of the firm has been straightforward: provide exceptional legal representation to people who have been injured and need someone willing to fight for them.
That mission remains at the center of the firm today.
Our California workers’ compensation attorneys represent injured workers facing issues involving medical treatment, temporary disability, permanent disability, disputed claims, serious workplace injuries, and workers’ compensation settlements. The firm also represents clients in select personal injury cases.
As Franco Muñoz has grown, so has our ability to serve clients throughout California.
But growth for its own sake has never been the goal.
Growth matters when it allows us to build a stronger team, devote more resources to our cases, reach more injured workers, and continue improving the experience we provide to the people who trust us with their legal matters.
That is why our firm’s mission remains just as important today as it was when Franco Muñoz began.
This Recognition Belongs to Our Entire Team
No law firm earns four consecutive years of growth because of one person.
It takes a team.
Our attorneys analyze medical evidence, take depositions, negotiate cases, prepare matters for trial, and advocate for injured workers throughout California’s workers’ compensation system.
Our legal assistants, case managers, intake professionals, administrative staff, and leadership team perform the work behind the scenes that allows our attorneys to focus on representing our clients.
Every phone call matters.
Every medical report matters.
Every deadline matters.
And every client matters.
Our continued growth is a reflection of the people who come to work every day committed to moving our clients’ cases forward.
We are extremely grateful to every member of the Franco Muñoz team who has contributed to this achievement.
Most Importantly, Thank You to Our Clients
While the Inc. 5000 recognition is based on business growth, the numbers do not tell the entire story.
Behind that growth are people.
Many clients contact Franco Muñoz during one of the most difficult periods of their lives.
An injured worker may suddenly be unable to perform the job that has supported his or her family for years.
A workers’ compensation insurance company may be disputing an injury.
Medical treatment may be delayed or denied.
A worker may be worried about whether disability checks will arrive, whether an employer will provide modified work, or whether a serious injury will permanently affect the worker’s ability to earn a living.
Other clients come to us after suffering serious injuries because of the negligence of another person or company.
When someone chooses Franco Muñoz to represent them, they are placing an enormous amount of trust in our firm.
We do not take that responsibility lightly.
Every client who has trusted Franco Muñoz has contributed to the story of our firm, and we are deeply grateful.
What an Inc. 5000 Recognition Means—and What It Does Not Mean
We also believe it is important to be clear about what this recognition represents.
The Inc. 5000 is fundamentally a business growth ranking. Companies are ranked according to percentage revenue growth during the applicable three-year period.
It is not a ranking of attorneys, and inclusion on the list should not be interpreted as a guarantee regarding the outcome of any legal matter.
Every workers’ compensation and personal injury case is different. Results depend on the facts, medical evidence, applicable law, insurance coverage, disputed issues, and many other factors.
What the Inc. 5000 recognition does demonstrate is that Franco Muñoz has experienced sustained business growth while continuing to pursue the mission on which our firm was built.
Four consecutive appearances are a milestone we are proud to celebrate—and a reminder of the responsibility that comes with continued growth.
Four Years in a Row—and Our Mission Remains the Same
A great deal has changed since Franco Muñoz first appeared on the Inc. 5000 in 2023.
Our team has grown.
Our reach has expanded.
The number and complexity of the matters we handle have increased.
But what we want Franco Muñoz to stand for has not changed.
Fight for injured people.
Prepare cases the right way.
Treat clients with dignity and respect.
Build a team that cares about the people behind the case files.
And continue improving.
To our clients, attorneys, staff, colleagues, families, and communities who have supported Franco Muñoz along the way:
Thank you.
We are proud to be named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 and especially proud to have achieved this recognition for the fourth consecutive year.
2023. 2024. 2025. 2026.
Four years in a row.
Your Fight. Our Mission.
