Laura Stephan began her legal career in Southern California nearly 30 years ago representing police officers in workers' compensation cases as well as personal injury cases. Thereafter, she began representing not only law enforcement, but also physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other health care providers in professional liability cases, both civil and administrative. In 2004, the United States Supreme Court upheld Ms. Stephan's jury verdict in the case of Quon v. City of Ontario, et al. (2004) 560 US 746. Very few attorneys in the United States hold this distinction.
